Automatic zoom
People look where you want them to.
You clicked something. Silk already knows where to look and when, so the zooms are on the timeline before you open the editor. Switch to 9:16 and it recomposes at full resolution, without re-recording.
The cursor
Big enough to follow on a phone.
Most people watch your video at a quarter of the size you recorded it. Silk never captures the system pointer. It draws its own, three times larger, at export resolution, smoothed on a spring so hand tremor disappears. It turns into a hand over links and a caret over fields, exactly where yours did.
Your camera
Never re-record because it sat in the wrong corner.
Your face lives on its own track, so everything stays editable afterwards: eight positions, any shape and ratio, how tightly it crops you, and where it moves to halfway through. Hide it wherever it is in the way.
Set the look once, reuse it forever. Background, frame, cursor and camera save into one preset, so every next recording matches without touching anything.
Everything else it does.
- Whole screen, one window, or an area. Other apps can be excluded from the capture entirely.
- Microphone and system audio. Separate tracks. Mute either one afterwards.
- Cut, split and trim. Non destructive, and every action can be undone.
- Export presets. YouTube, TikTok, Reels, Shorts, X and LinkedIn, up to 4K at 60 fps.
